Hardwood Floor Finish

A hardwood finish is typically applied after floor has already been stained, to seal and protect the wood from spills and scratches, and to give better looking hardwood floor.

A finish is normally applied with a paintbrush with two to three coats of polyurethane for adequate protection. When the first coat dries, we sand it lightly with sandpaper and apply a second coat.
